Happy Windsday!

The past few days have been very windy. I took advantage of that and tried to hang out some laundry yesterday which dried super fast however, every 5 minutes or so multiple things needed to be rehung. It was good times.
It reminded me of the story "Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day" where Pooh goes to visit Piglet to wish him a Happy Windsday! (If you've never read any Winnie the Pooh books you really should. They're quite entertaining).

Just like in the book, the strong winds have blown many of the leaves off the trees. Now they are slightly naked.

Fuzz was busy playing Robin Hood while I wandered with my camera.

The sun peaked out through the clouds for just a moment. It was pretty beautiful.

Even these Tamarack trees will soon lose their needles for winter.

But for now we can enjoy the colours that the wind did not blow away

Let us Begin by Giving Thanks!

One of my favourite ways to pass the time is to take a walk. Especially through a wooded area. This past weekend was Thanksgiving so, with great cooperation from the weather, my family all got together for some tasty turkey and a hike...
I am thankful for the many fall colours that God has created...
 My awesome family...
 Even the wiener ones...

 For hanging babies from trees...
 For time spent together...

And long walks in the woods.

Welcome!!!

Welcome to my blog!

I have a feeling that this is going to be mainly a blog of photos and less of words (although I do like to talk a lot so I guess we'll just see what happens).

I hope you enjoy!
